For over 100 years, Iris has worked with individual development. Today, the mission is to offer personalized education and development throughout the country. Iris works broadly to support individuals in taking their next step in the labor market. We do this through education such as SFI, municipal adult education, and corporate training. Through labor market initiatives and job matching, as well as through assessments and adaptations. Iris is part of the Iris Group, one of Sweden's leading actors in effective education and support measures for adults. The Iris Group, which consists of the operations Iris and Medlearn, has a turnover of approximately 400 million SEK and over 550 employees in 80 locations across Sweden. The vision is to realize dreams. Through our efforts, where each individual reaches their full potential, we create a better society with reduced unemployment and increased integration. Iris strives for gender balance and values the qualities that diversity brings to the organization. What are my responsibilities?
The Steg Till Arbete service is procured by the Employment Service and is aimed at job seekers who, due to disabilities and/or a history of ill health, need work-oriented rehabilitation to enter work or education. The service aims to identify the participant's resources and support needs in a cohesive process and to strengthen and develop the participant with the goal of work or education. We start from the participants' individual needs. Participants have varying lengths of unemployment, diverse educational backgrounds, and experience in the labor market. We are now looking for someone who wants to support our operations as needed.
Steg Till Arbete consists of 4 parts: an initial mapping phase, a potential assessment phase, a work trial with employers willing to accept participants, and a concluding phase aimed at becoming independent in obtaining employment. The team around the participant includes an occupational therapist, job consultant, coordinator, and career counselor as needed. As a job consultant, you are involved in all 4 parts of the service. You conduct competency assessments, have individual conversations as well as group activities, follow up on the participant's progress and work trials. You work with motivational conversations, guiding and health-promoting activities. You assist in preparing application documents and other strengthening activities related to the labor market and have contacts with employers to find suitable work trial placements. Administration and documentation are ongoing, and it is important to meet set deadlines. Travel is included in the job.
Your profile
You have at least two years of full-time higher education or vocational training in sociology, behavioral science, pedagogy, or medicine, as well as at least one year of part-time experience in individual or group guidance/coaching of individuals with mental or physical health issues or disabilities in the last three years. To thrive in the role of job consultant, you are a driven and responsible person who can engage and motivate others. You easily network and create business contacts, as well as collaborate with your colleagues in a changing environment. You have the ability to structure and prioritize your tasks and enjoy working results-oriented and goal-oriented with several different parallel processes at the same time. You are efficient and accurate in your documentation with good administrative skills.
We prefer that you have a B driver's license and access to a car. We place great emphasis on personal suitability for the position.
Additional information
